Estimator
The successful candidate will prepare accurate, timely and detailed conceptual, permit and
construction estimates for all assigned projects.

Desirable candidate should have:

• BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, mathematics, business or equivalent discipline
• Field experience in construction of wood framed projects
• Experience in project estimation, preferably multi-family construction
• Ability to successfully work with a wide range of Owners, Clients, Subcontractors, Vendors and employees
• Knowledge of estimating software, preferably Timberline Precision Estimating
• Good working knowledge of computer business software, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent analytical presentation and report writing skills
• Demonstrated managerial skills appropriate with this position.

Project Manager

Qualified candidate will create, update, monitor and ensure maintenance of production schedule;
municipality compliance and quality of production; and completeness of all necessary reports to
update superiors of factors affecting production while minimizing change orders. Our Project Managers
have full responsibility of complete day-to-day operations of projects as well as assisting in the
pre-construction phase. We have several new projects starting soon and most projects are wood framed projects.

Desirable candidate should have:

• BS in Civil, Mechanical or Structural Engineering, BS in Construction Management, or equivalent discipline
• Will consider candidates with considerable successful experience in building multi-family projects
• Field experience in construction of wood framed projects
• Experience in project estimation, preferably multi-family construction
• Desirable to have experience with Timberline Estimating software
• Positive attitude and ability to successfully work with a wide range of Architects, Engineers, Developers, Owners, Clients, Subcontractors and Vendors
• Demonstrated managerial skills appropriate with this position.

Assistant Project Manager

Qualified candidate will produce project schedules, ensure subcontractors complete all construction work
according to schedule and according to code, and ensure all construction work for Superior Construction
is of the highest quality possible. We have several new projects starting soon and most projects are wood framed projects.

Desirable candidate should have:
• Desirable to have candidates with BS in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, BS in Construction Management, or equivalent discipline
• Desirable to have candidates with experience in building wood frame structures
• Desirable to have some experience in estimation, preferably on wood frame structures
• Ability to successfully work with a wide range of Clients, Subcontractors and Vendors
• Desire to learn project managerial skills

Superintendent

Superior Construction is currently seeking several experienced Multi-Family Superintendents for our
Charlotte Office. Successful candidates will show a minimum or five years superintendent experience.
Ideal candidates will have at least 1-2 years of Multi-Family experience (salary depends on number of
years experience and size of projects undertaken), i.e. Condo's and/or Apartment construction, along
with at least five years in construction as a whole. Must have experience running own project from
start to finish. The candidate will be required to manage 20+ Sub-Contractors and, possibly, an Assistant Superintendent.

Accounts Payable Clerk

Qualified candidate will be responsible for: matching and processing invoices; handling vendor inquiries and
maintaining vendor files; performing data entry; creating correspondence; and, in general, function as a direct
liaison between Controller and Assistant to Project Manager as relates to accounts payable.

Desirable candidate should have:

• Desirable candidate to have experience in Construction accounting
• Must be proficient and accurate at data entry and in ten key by hand
• Knowledge of accounting software, preferably Timberline Precision Accounting, especially experience using Timberline’s PO and AP    modules
• Complete understanding of life cycles for Purchase Orders and Subcontract pay application, including Change Order initiation and    processing
• Positive attitude and ability to successfully work with a wide range of employees, Clients, Subcontractors and Vendors
• Good working knowledge of computer business software, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Some overtime required. Potential growth of this position is either Accounts Payable Manager or Assistant Project Manager
