Burns Logan

Burns is a seasoned construction lawyer with a unique background. Before obtaining his law degree, he worked in residential roofing and framing and even helped his father with his industrial maintenance company. Immediately after obtaining his joint Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration (JD-MBA) from Samford University in 2003, Burns became an associate attorney for a law firm in Birmingham, Alabama. He has since served as in-house counsel for several construction companies, advising on bids, contracting, joint venture and teaming agreements and corporate functions. In his current role as Superior’s General Counsel, Burns manages a team of specialists focusing on construction claims, risk, contracting and compliance.
