A Future You Can Feel Confident About

As a parent, you want your child to find a career that offers stability, opportunity and room to grow. Through Superior’s STEP program, they’ll earn a paycheck, build valuable skills and receive the support they need to succeed from day one.

Let's chat about the paths

A Career Worth Building

Not every successful career starts in a college classroom.

Through Superior’s paid apprenticeship program, your child can begin building a rewarding career immediately after high school while earning industry-recognized credentials, learning from experienced mentors and gaining hands-on experience on real infrastructure projects.

From the beginning, they’ll be part of a structured program designed to help them learn, grow and build a long-term career—not just fill an entry-level position.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Apprentices earn a paycheck from their first day while learning on the job. They gain valuable experience while avoiding the tuition costs associated with many post-graduation paths.

Absolutely. Construction offers long-term careers with opportunities to advance into leadership, project management, safety, estimating and other specialized roles. STEP helps participants build the skills needed to continue growing throughout their careers.

Safety is one of Superior’s core values. Apprentices receive hands-on training, mentorship and supervision while working alongside experienced professionals who are committed to helping them succeed safely.

Participants work toward industry-recognized credentials, including NCCER certifications and other training that prepares them for long-term success in construction.

STEP provides a clear roadmap for development, so participants always understand what comes next and what skills they’ll need as they continue advancing.

Although traditional construction work requires you to be 18, we offer a paid summer pre-apprenticeship for high school Juniors and Seniors. Applications open in the early spring, or contact us for more info.

A Career That Grows With Them

Your child’s first job doesn’t have to be their last.

Many people begin their careers in the field and continue growing into leadership, project management, safety, estimating and other specialized roles. As they gain experience, they’ll have opportunities to continue learning, taking on new responsibilities and building a career they can be proud of.
