Superior Construction has been named to Jacksonville Daily Record’s 2025 Top Contractors List, recognizing construction firms with the highest revenue in Northeast Florida.

Superior placed 9th in the 2025 Top Contractors List. It is the fourth consecutive year the heavy civil contractor has been ranked.

The Jacksonville Daily Record compiles the Top Contractors List yearly by soliciting submissions from contractors working in the five-county Northeast Florida area (Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, and St. Johns). Companies are ranked based on the previous year’s local revenue. The list encompasses various specialties, including general contracting, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, roofing, demolition, and more.

As a fourth-generation, family-owned business, Superior Construction has built a legacy of excellence, safety and innovation in the construction industry. In 2024, the heavy civil contractor secured a $247 million contract to widen Interstate 95 between Emerson Street and Atlantic Boulevard, thereby adding capacity and enhancing safety for drivers. It is also currently completing the construction of the SSA/JAXPORT Container modernization and the First Coast Connector (Cathedral Oak Parkway) project, which will connect County Road 315 to the First Coast Expressway with a six-span bridge. In 2023, St. Johns County also selected Superior to complete two phased design-build projects: CR 210 Widening project and the Summer Haven North Old A1A Road Reconstruction project.
