Amy Henningfield

Amy brings more than 30 years of construction experience to her role as Director of Workforce Development, with a career trajectory from timekeeper to executive leadership. As a founding steering committee member of Superior’s Women in Construction (SWiC) program, she helped develop an initiative that achieved 100% promotion rates for its inaugural leadership class. Amy spearheaded Indiana’s first all-girls construction camp and was named a 2025 Construction Dive Champion for mentorship. Her advocacy stems from personal experience. When Amy’s career began in the 1990s, female mentors were virtually nonexistent — an absence that shaped her belief that “you can’t be what you don’t see.”
