Rick McCarthy

Rick began his construction career in 2006 as a Field Superintendent at Kiewit, then spent five years as an Infrastructure Estimator at James McHugh Construction Co. He joined Superior in 2016 as an Estimator and was promoted to Great Lakes Heavy Civil Division Manager in 2021. Rick holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Western Michigan University and several professional credentials, including OSHA 30-Hour and 10-Hour training and a Board of Certified Safety Professionals Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC) designation.
