I-4 Direct Connect
Superior Construction built new express lanes for a portion of Florida Turnpike’s mainline including a direct-connect flyover ramp, approximately 2,000-feet long. In addition to the flyover ramp, miscellaneous roadway improvements, milling, and resurfacing on the mainline were completed between the Beachline Expressway (SR 528) and I-4. The project goal was to improve safety and traffic operations throughout the interchange.
