Overview

This design-build-finance project included the construction of approximately 2.5 miles of a new alignment, limited access highway from I-95 to US 1. Project features include a system-to-system interchange at I-95 and SR 9B and a fully directional interchange at US 1 and SR 9B. To accommodate future express lanes on I-95, the project also widened I-95 from six to eight lanes for approximately 2.75 miles. Additional infrastructure improvements included the full reconstruction of US 1 from four lanes to six for approximately two miles of extensive utility relocations.
