SR 9B Phase III

This contract provided the final segment of SR 9B, extending it southward to CR 2209. Project features include four pairs of new overpass bridges, one prefabricated pedestrian bridge, full intelligent traffic system (ITS), and lighting. This project completes the final 2.5 miles of the limited access highway and features nine bridge structures. The signature structures are the twin 833-ft long bridges over Durbin Creek and the surrounding wetlands, constructed from temporary work trestles to minimize environmental impacts.
